Empowering the public through education Our goal is to increase the public's awareness of the needs of our children through the Empowering Through Education Program: - presentations to the general public including civic organizations, specialty groups, churches, etc. - seminars to university classes of health or education fields of study regarding therapy-related topics - distribution of literature at community events and fundraising activities - production of a newsletter, Empowering News, to increase awareness of the opportunities we provide The information presented includes how the various types of disabilities affect our children and the needs of our families.
